Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron Are Dead, Long Live Intel Processor

from Intel has just announced that starting in 2023, the famous Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron branding would be retired, with the company to instead introduce a new Intel Processor lineup that will cover both families of chips.

Intel’s notebook product stack will therefore use a single branding that will make more sense for the company’s offering in the long term, making the lineup overall more streamlined.

Intel says the new strategy will also simply the lineup for customers.
