Samsung is already one of the companies investing big in foldable smartphones, and needless to say, it’s also a pioneer of this form factor, with the Galaxy Fold and Flip lineups currently spearheading the market.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Samsung isn’t planning more ambitious upgrades in the long term, and a recent patent application discovered by SamMobile provides us with an early look at how the company sees the current form factor evolving.
The patent application at World Intellectual Property Office, describes a dual-screen device – Samsung is currently offering foldable devices, so the company is apparently considering an expansion of the current form factor.
