The Modern “Open With” Menu Returns to Windows 11

Microsoft’s most recent Windows 11 build available for users who have enrolled in the Beta channel of the Windows Insider program also witnesses the return of the modern “Open with” dialog box in the context menu.
Originally introduced earlier this year but then pulled in March, the new Open with menu is supposed to give the context menu a highly anticipated modern refresh, especially as Microsoft is working non-stop on overhauling the operating system from one end to another.
The Redmond-based software giant says it has managed to introduce several important performance improvements, so in theory, opening the new and modern menu should now feel snappier and more responsive.
“We are beginning to roll out the updated “Open with” dialog box again to align with Windows 11 design principles. The updated dialog box honors light and dark theme.
