The upcoming fall is going to be a very, very busy time of year for Microsoft, as the software giant is gearing up for several major announcements.
On one hand, it’s the debut of Windows 11 version 22H2. As a major Windows 11 update, this is the biggest operating system release of the year, and users obviously can’t wait to get their hands on it.
Microsoft has already selected the RTM build, but so far, the company hasn’t said a single thing about when it plans to kick off the rollout to non-insider devices.

But in addition to software new, Microsoft is also getting ready to share some pretty exciting hardware announcements.
According to a report from The Verge, the Redmond-based software giant will take the wraps off new Surface models in the fall as well, possibly just ahead of the Ignite conference in mid-October.
