Windows 11 22H2 Rollout Expected to Start in August

from We’ve known for a while that Microsoft was working on a new major update for Windows 11, and while the company has remained tight-lipped on its release date, there’s more evidence that the rollout could start sooner rather than later.

A recent report from Deskmodder includes some timing details as well, as they believe the first users could get their hands on the so-called Windows 11 version 22h2 at some point in August.

The general availability could be reached in mid-September, though I think this would actually be the moment when Microsoft would accelerate the rollout rather than the general availability per se.

Microsoft typically needs more than a month to reach GA, pretty much because the company wants to be sure everything is running properly and no major bugs are encountered.
