Microsoft Adds a Little Bit of Color to the Windows 11 Task Manager

from Microsoft is working on all kinds of improvements for Windows 11, and most recently, the company announced a refreshed version of the famous Task Manager.

The visual makeover allows Task Manager to align with the rest of Windows 11, therefore getting a more modern look and a dark mode, but by the looks of things, Microsoft is also working on more aesthetic improvements for this part of the operating system.

In the latest Windows Insider podcast, Microsoft has teased a pink version of the Task Manager, and as Neowin notes, this is thanks to the app now following Windows 11 accent colors.

In other words, the accent color you enable for Windows 11, and which can be seen in various parts of the operating system, including on the taskbar, is now making its way to the Task Manager as well.
